The Funeral Rule

Most people don’t know that funeral homes are obligated to use your casket of choice, even if you purchased it elsewhere. They are also prohibited from charging a surcharge or handling fee for this service.

We encourage you to research your state's and local governing authority's regulations, as requirements can vary. For instance, some states mandate the use of a burial vault, while others do not.
