Our hardwood products are finished with a clear coat of Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey wood finish. This innovative finish is made from plant-based resins and byproducts of cheesemaking, offering a safer alternative to the toxic ingredients commonly found in most wood finishes. The PolyWhey water-based finish is crucial in preventing your natural wood casket from warping or cracking while in your home, and it decomposes naturally when in direct contact with the earth.

We also offer unfinished caskets, but these are only available for delivery directly to the funeral provider within a 100-mile radius of Hartville, Ohio.
